Journal entry by pam walker —
Jim flew with the angels at approx. 11:30 pm Resurrection Sunday. All the while he was with us he knew that it was time to go home. Over the past couple of days he would ask "what should I do?" At first thought we thought he was struggling with spiritual issues and closure. But what I believe truly happened is he was surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses compelling him to the other side. He struggled with what he should do. The Apostle Paul said I am in a fix between the two. To stay here with you is needful, but to be in the presence of the Lord is the Ultimate Prize.
God was choosing him and Jim surrendered all. His last day was full of love and support. Ann and wayne visited with him and shared I love yous. James and Sue also shared love with him. I also shared with Jim that Valerie and her family loved him very much and desire peace for him.
And so it was to be, so long Jim until we all meet again.
It was our privilege at the guest house to share this journey with Jim and Wayne Valerie and JES.
