Yesterday was a pretty good day. But last nite was rough up every two hours coughing up phlegm and Jim felt like he couldn’t take a deep breath. This is normal after the type of biopsy he had . Hopefully today will be better .

Yesterday him did he’s lung biopsy. He made it through that step of his journey and came off the ventilator with no problem. He has been coughing up blood since but this is a normal side effect of the biopsy. The doctor confirmed it is lung cancer. Now we wait to hear back from the biopsy and see what the next step of this journey is.

Two weeks ago Jim though the was having a heart attack. After arriving at the hospital we learn he had pneumonia. To our shock we also learnt he had lung cancer and so our journey begins.

Wednesday we had Jim's pet scan done. Thursday we followed up with our first visit to the Pulmonologist.  On Feb 4 they will be doing a biopsy of his lung at Riverside Regional.  He's doing a lot of sleeping these days and that's a good thing.  For he needs lots of rest to prepare for this journey. 

As many of you know cancer is frightening but we are trying hard to stay positive. 

Prayers are always welcomed because the only one who can get us through this is the lord. I'm trusting him because he knows what's best.
