Jim died peacefully and surrounded by family yesterday evening. Not surprisingly, he was considerate with his timing, as we had just finished dinner. His timing was also perfect because a rare celestial event was occuring just as he ascended to the stars: 5 planets were visible on the horizon. They might be visible tonight, too.
