I remember when I met Jaimee. I moved to California with my family and I was so excited for the hot tub in the apartment complex. Each night it was usually just me and this lovely woman soaking her sore knees. We got to know each other over box wine or water and long talks. My favorite memory is when she rented a minivan to move some things to Oregon and we were on our way back to Sacramento. The van needed to be back by a certain time so she didn't get charged another day, so I was driving pretty fast down the mountains (I was still pretty young lol) when she finally asked how fast I was going. The speedometer went up to like 100? maybe? and then went down to the P R N D ... (The gear shifter was on the steering column) and I was going so fast the speedometer needle was past the numbers and was on the P...so I answered her with "oh P, P+" She was so confused until she looked...oh the expression on her face! Priceless! I mean I was driving extremely well...it was miles before she realized how fast we were going lol! But for some reason our safety was more important than being charged for another day so she made me sloooooow down. And it was one of the best road trips I've been on. We laughed and laughed. I love you so much Jaimee!! I'll never forget our hot tub talks or that road trip to Oregon. Plus we never lost touch. You are special to me and I'll love you forever my friend!! 💕 I'm so very sorry for your loss Dorianna and Landon. 💔

Thank you. I have heard from many of the Job Corps Staffers. It is amazing that after all these years they can still quote differences Jaimee made in their lives. She was such a special person. You and Landon be safe. Thinking of the entire family. Hugs.
