Hello friends & family,
Jade’s PET scan was moved to this morning. She returned home this afternoon and is resting. We will meet with her doctor next Monday, 11/2, to review results. We look forward to sharing and celebrating a good report next week. Pending results of the PET scan, the only remaining scheduled treatments are for her to receive her immunotherapy drug once every three weeks for maintenance. We earnestly trust this will be the case.
Jade has experienced a significant amount of discomfort these last few weeks from her latest round, made worse from the cumulative effects of her now months-long treatments, but seems through the worst of it now as she finishes what is hopefully the last week of being impacted by new chemo. We continue to place our faith in God’s healing and His timing.
Jade was able to visit with family a few hours last week, and enjoyed seeing my mother Mary, and three sisters Colleen, Kathleen, and Diane in from Louisville last Thursday, and my step-mother Wendy in from TN on Saturday. Jade was also able to rally and join us, as Ben voted in his first Presidential election.
Our prayer requests are for Jade to get plenty of rest and peace of mind, and for peace to reign again in our great Republic. We will update again next week with results.
Jade, Jim & Ben
