We will be thinking about Jack today during his memorial service. He was a wonderful person and although we didn’t see each other often over the past few years we fondly remember fun moments in Aspen and on our visit to Houston. Phyllis I am so saddened to learn the news of Jack’s death from Shirley this morning. Jack was such a kind and sweet person. Knowing you both for over 60 years reminded me of how quickly life goes by so quickly. You may not have heard but my husband died on July 4th from a heart attack.

I know you and your family will find comfort in the beautiful memories you shared. I will reach out in a few weeks.

Dear Phyllis, Sandy, Jill and family, Badar and I truly wish we could be there to remember Jack and or you all in person. For the eight years that we lived in Houston and grew to know and love your family, he welcomed us in countless ways. After sitting next to him at a party, Badar viewed Jack as a mentor for all things wonderful in Houston and the South (among other things). Our extended family trip to Sea Island was all due to him.
