Jack’s Story

Site created on December 9, 2020

As many of you, Jack’s wonderful friends, have been so kind to ask about him, we have created this page so that you can stay updated. Please feel free to share your thoughts and memories about Jack; faithful husband, father, grandfather and friend as we would love to hear from you. Dad entered the emergency room on Sunday, November 30th after a fall from which he had a hard time recovering. After 10 days of care at the hospital, as the healthcare workers worked hard to keep dad’s heart balanced (blood pressure and heart rate), he underwent a Bronchoscopy today, Wednesday, December 9th., in an attempt to obtain a biopsy of an enlarged lymph node in his lung. Although the surgery was risky as it entailed anesthesia and dad has some heart challenges, in true “Jack” form, he took on the challenge and got through the surgery successfully! We will now await the tests on the biopsy and decide on next steps with the critical information. In the next few days, we will be making a decision on Dad’s rehabilitation. Thank you for your continued prayers as we are believers in Christ our Lord and so is our sweet, wonderful father.
