I’m devastated to know that Jackie lost her valiant fight, but grateful she no longer suffers. She was a beautiful person, and I was honored to be her infusion chemo nurse. If her cat still needs home, please reach out to me either here or Loralie should have my number in mom’s phone. I specialize in special needs pets, if I don’t keep her myself, I work with several places that would find the right home. I’ve actually been trying since November 2nd, to reach out, not knowing she had passed. My last conversation with her, she told me she was taking a break from chemo.
My last text was November 11th, hoping that Loralie would see it if Jackie couldn’t.

I’d like to thank all of you for being her friends and family. I know how much she loved everyone. And she was so grateful she lived long enough for the wedding, in fact she was grateful for every day of her life.

I’m prepared to take the cat immediately if placement still needed. Thank you

I am so sorry for the departure of our dearest Jackie. When I open my mail I am waiting to find Jackie's notes for the day. Her thoughts, her fears, her stories of the past and the present. She will be greatly missed. But we know that she is in the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour. Our deepest condolences to all her family and friends. (Natasha and Pavlos Dimitriadis)

Thank you Leslie for the up-date on Jackie. Our family and my father Terry are just devastated of the loss of Jackie we will desperately miss Her. She has been such a big part of our family here in Michigan. It still doesn’t seem real. My father doesn’t get on this sight and doesn’t text but I will continue to relay any information that is posted. Continued Thoughts and prayers to Lorelei, Jason and all Jackie’s friends and family. Thank you again. Teia Adams (Terry’s daughter)

Jackie had thought about putting her posts in book form. They'd make wonderful reading! In fact, this should be required reading for everyone facing a terminal illness, those who care for them, and those who love them whether cancer or anything else. These posts had every conceivable emotion. Nothing was left out. She showed herself to be a woman in full. These wonderful writings deserve as wide an audience as possible.

Thank you for the update. We will certainly miss her. Do you know if her previous journal pages will still be available to read, as she as passed on, or if they will be removed? Many of us felt very connected to her through them and look back on her posts.
