We are saddened to hear of Jackie’s passing. Lorelei you and Jason are in our prayers. It is a great comfort to know that your mom is better than she’s ever been and that we will see her again! Thank you Jesus for the hope we have in you.

Alan, thank you for loving her so. She really loved you all, and cherished the relationship you all shared. I know she had a most special bond with Leslie, and I am eternally grateful she had such good people beside her. We are all heartbroken. My brother Eugene was able to be with her today in person and enabled me to tell her one last time that we loved her, through video call. As I write this I cannot believe this has indeed happened and happened so very quickly. Lorelei was the light of her life. Jackie was the best mom and the greatest sister. May we honor her memory in anyway we can. I know she is smiling now with the sunshine of heaven on her face. Sleep now sweet Jackie, may you rest in peace.

P.S. I just noticed that that darn spell check made a critical mistake! I usually recheck my message before posting but not this time. Around the fifth comment line it showed that Jackie was 'stabbed' at the hospital. It should have been 'stabilized'. Alan Linnebur

Sadly, Jackie passed away today, Saturday, and is in the hands of our Lord. She, Lorelei and husband, Jason, all acquired the Covid virus last week. They did not get the vaccines but, Jackie, under her chemo treatments, was at a high risk if she did get the vaccine so she did not opt for it. Lorelei and Jason are recovering from the virus but Jackie became extremely dehydrated yesterday after so many days of sleeping and not taking in fluids. She became incoherent and was taken to Lankenau Hospital where she was stabbed however later last night her condition worsened and organ failure began. Coincidently my daughter, Leslie, happened to be in Philadelphia this week and has been in constant contact to help Lorelei make final decisions. It was decided to not try to resuscitate Jackie. At this point, it looks like cremation will be chosen. Leslie, who was fully vaccinated was allowed in the hospital and was able to hold Jackie's hand and talk to her for awhile and wish her well in her afterlife. The doctors said that Jackie could hear but she couldn't talk at that time. Jackie is our daughter-in-law from her marriage to our son, Alan, Jr., and remained our daughter after her divorce. We love her very much and she was a great mother to our granddaughter, Lorelei, who will be 29 years old this coming Monday, Nov. 1st. Jackie's birthday is December 19th when she would be 58. We love her and her great family and friends. Alan and Phyllis Linnebur in Prescott, AZ.

It's a relief that she's in the hospital. At the very least, she'll be more comfortable. I saw this on email several hours ago. She's been in my prayers. If this is the end of the journey, if God is calling her home, she lived as brave and good life under such horrible circumstances as anything or anyone I've ever seen. But it's still so shocking that she collapsed SO fast. We were makring plans just so recently to take a field trip to JoMar's to buy fabric. If God does spare her, that'll be a wonderful trip. If not, I can rejoice in the fact that we've become friends thanks to this website. We'd been friendly acquaintances for over 20 years, but this last almost two years, we've really gotten to know each other . What a treasure it's been. But, selfishly, I am praying that God spares her.

Hi everyone. I'm Jackie's friend from Instagram. She hasn't posted a journal entry in a few days. Have any of you talked to her?
