Thanks for filling us in Uncle Al! I am so glad she had caring bridge and shared her life with all of us! I was amazed by all that she did and what fun she had enjoying life, for the most part. All of her trips, to see Terry and the animals, shopping and beach trips with Lorelei and friends. Dinners with friends and family. I'm not sure why it took me so long to realize who her favorite Beanie was, because she's a favorite of mine too! I'm so glad she was with her when she passed. And such a big help for the wedding. Jackie definitely lived it up when she could. I always think of how Mae made her so happy. It sounded like she was having a grand time helping Lorelei, with the most recent costume projects. I'll always remember both of them dearly, from our trip to Puerto Vallarta, for Beanie's wedding. We had such fun. Love you all! Hugs, Deb

Thank you for filling in the details. It was, as you say, so shockingly fast. I know she didn't have a lot of time left, her doctors were running out of options, but there were a few they were going to try. I like to think that God spared her, perhaps, a slower more painful death. Yet I can't help but thinking that she'd still retain her high spirits no matter how much time she had left. And it appeared she did. What struck me was that she was always looking to the future, to more trirps, more outings, more time in Michigan with her beloved Terry and her equine, feline, and avian friends (and humans, too!) This morning in Bible class, we prayed that Jackie would live at least long enuf to help Lalli celebrate one more birthday, but it was not to be. And it would've been no kindness if she were hooked up to life support machines when her body was giving out. Better to go this way. But the sad part is that she had to leave us at all. But it was good that if it had to happen, it happened fast. But how she'll be missed!
