Thanks for visiting to learn about my new life as a cancer-fighting superhero.  In August 2023, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer (metastatic CRC). I'm fortunate to have the support of many friends and loved ones (like you!) in this journey. I truly hope my story can help guide others to prevention and early detection in their own lives. 


I will post journal updates as often as I can. If you reach out to me here/elsewhere, please know I WILL read and appreciate your words, even if you do not hear back from me in a timely manner. Talking about cancer is exhausting, but I'm trying my best and your support means the absolute WORLD to me.  


Let's go kill some cancer cells and come out stronger on the other side!

Accepting help has never been my strong suit, but it's something I'm learning to do while adapting to the many unknowns on this journey. I'm fortunate to have an amazingly supportive employer and be able to continue working and supporting myself.  That said, I have no idea what to expect in terms of financial need as my treatments continue.
