Mom and Dad went to the ER yesterday because Dad was having a lot of shortness of breath. He is now back in the hospital, and they have discovered multiple blood clots in both lungs but is feeling okay. The doctors have said that once you've had blood clots (like the ones in his legs awhile ago), you are more prone to getting them.
They are doing a bronchoscopy tomorrow. The medical team wants to see if there are any other infections going on. Yesterday, when Dad was in the ER, they didn't want to do the IV infusion but did give him some antibiotics. They started the IV infusion again today.
He is in Room #578, but we're not sure how long he will be in the hospital. Possibly around 5 days.
