Journal entry by Steven Bleeke

Back round:  In November 2019, after 10 years of symptom free living with prostate cancer, I started to feel pain and numbness in my lower back, buttocks, thighs, calves and last three toes on each foot.  Tests were done and they showed that a tumor was pressing on my last two vertebrae cutting off the flow of spinal fluid to the base of the spine.  This was causing the pain.  My oncologist placed me on medication and began a process of pain management.  A few weeks later they recommended radiation treatment.

Last Friday, May 24, 2019, I finished a course of ten radiation treatments at Springfield Regional Cancer Center.  So far it has not has an effect on me that I can tell.  I also received certification for Medical Marijuana although Sadhguru doesn't think it is a good idea.  I am taking the weekend off once my Saturday classes are over.  This website is an experiment which may give me the opportunity to engage with friends and family and structure a network of helpers to help me manage all of the treatment and personal care tasks that I have taken on with the goal of curing my disease.

I want to thank all of you for your interest in my case and I look forward to our moving forward together.
