Josh and Careese.
You two continue to inspire and amaze me every day. Instead of being sad that this happened you have chosen to celebrate the good days and muscle through the bad.
Your Aunt Dara loves you both so much and am so proud to be in your lives.

Love the picture - beautiful smiles.
My heart goes out to your family. I can only imagine your roller coaster of emotions and the exhaustion & frustration you must feel, yet you continue to trust God and strive to be the best parents you can be.
Praying for all of your family, and especially Isaiah.

Once again I am so thankful for your update, your honesty and transparency. My heart breaks thinking of the path you are all on. When you wrote the doctors didn’t expect him to survive this long, I must confess I felt a kick to the gut. I simply cannot imagine what is like to prepare for bed. I’m sure you are well aware of these Scriptures but I’ll leave them with you and pray them over you every night. I don’t go to bed until around 2 AM each night, so I will cover you all with prayer while you are sleeping.

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

I am just around a couple corners from you (on Bayswater). Don’t hesitate to call if you need ANYTHING, even if you just don’t want to get out for milk. I’m also a retired RN and a fellow Cook’s mom.

Love and prayers,
Kelly

I have been reading Struggle Bus today and all I could think about was Isaiah. I am so thankful he has prayerful, faithful parents who love him so much. Your faith and the stability you give your precious son is amazing. I love you guys!

Bless you Isaiah for always reminding us that when we feel we are just having the worst day we are not!!!! If we would all start our day with the smile that you put on and rejoice with every moment we are able to walk, dance, play, pray and sing how mush more blessed we would be. God has a very special place for you here on earth to teach us remind us and make sure we remember to count our blessings each and every day!!! As always we pray for you we send our hugs and our love!!! Dale

What a beautiful sight: Mom dancing with her son! I am ashamed to admit that I have been selfish praying for my medical needs. I recommit myself to praying for Isaiah and your family. I often wake in the night and pray then . You are back on my heart. I'm sorry you have had such a rough time with night seizures. It must be difficult to calm everyone and try to go back to sleep. Please forgive me for my selfishness. I love your family and want God to show his favor to you.
