It is hard to put into words the deep sadness I feel about Mike’s passing. My sincere and deepest condolences go out to his entire family and his numerous friends. Meeting Mike my freshman year of high school changed my life. We had a blast at high school prom, flying to Colorado for his graduation 🎓 from Boulder was a monumental moment, and I was so happy to be there. Going to Grateful Dead shows, or listening to a Blues Band In Chicago were highlights too. I can see his sparkling smile and his head bobbing when a great song started and we’d toast and high five. Pay had that trademark smile which was such a joy to see. He shined so very bright. He was one of the most supportive friends in my life when I lost my brother in 2006. He was beyond caring and always made a point to write and check in to let me know he was there for me through the good times and the difficult times too. He will be greatly missed and he will forever live on in the hearts of all who love him ♥️, Jenny B.
