Journal entry by Brian McEvilly

Hello Friends and Family,
We can't thank you enough for the amazing support shown in so many ways to help us navigate a life missing our favorite person, Illa. Keili, Hana and I are in close contact and we had some excellent family adventures to Catalina and to the Kelly Slater Wave Co Surf Ranch giving us some healthy distractions while doing the things Illa loved to do (see pics and video). Hana is now back in Hawaii and Keili is spending more time on the ocean sailing the coast. This website and the correspondence with you all has been a great help to keep everyone up to speed. I expect that we will be closing this page and memorializing Illa's social media accounts as feasible in the coming weeks, so I encourage you to look around and download any pictures you like for your personal use. We closed the meal-train calendar so I can keep up my culinary skills 😂.

Moving forward you can keep appraised of the girls and I through the links below:

Hana : Hanja-designs.com - You will find more of her art on instagram and some of it is for sale.
Keili : You can follow Keili's sailing adventures here @ethnomads. If you want to donate to support her efforts to promote sustainability you can contribute on venmo to @Keili-McEvilly
Brian : Instagram - @b_mce is best place to see what I am up to.

Special thanks to; Debi Murray, Steve Schaner, Pat McEvilly, and Tim Jenkins for generous donations that helped cover costs for travel and Illa's celebration of life 🙏

Overall Illa's insurance has covered the majority of medical expenses, anyone moved to send a financial gift can use this Link, Please note any donations or tributes direct through this website go entirely to the website and will not benefit the family.

In summary, we are moving forward and some days are better than others but our goal is to "love like Illa" and make the most of every day we are given.

Sincerely,

Brian
