Hunter’s Story

Site created on July 5, 2018

Hunter was having a fun 4th of July with his friends and family,  doing what most 16 year olds do.  He dove into some water, not knowing it was very shallow, and suffered a spinal cord injury immediately paralyzing  him in the water.  Hunter is still with us thanks to the heroic efforts of Emma, who pulled him from the water and started CPR until he regained consciousness.   Thankfully Hunters mother Jenny was not far, called 911 and was there encouraging him to come back to her.    Hunter is currently in extensive surgery to stabilize his spine.  He has a long road to recovery ahead of him, any amount will help.  Please send your love and prayers to this family.   Please check back for updates.

Hunter came out of surgery late last night, and the doctors say it went well. We have set up a go fund me account with a link under the ways to help page.  Please keep your prayers coming!
