Journal entry by Tony Vela —
It’s been a while since we’ve updated you on here, but we’ve not forgotten about you! Hunter has been doing well and we are thankful to have a more consistent schedule that allows for some normalcy. This has allowed him to spend time with some friends and family and enjoy the holidays at home. With this being said, we are currently headed to Fort Worth to meet with his GI doctor and for another round of heavy chemo tomorrow. The GI doc will assess him and see how the pancreas is working, then he will guide us from there. Then he will have a lumbar puncture chemo treatment followed by chemo infusion, shortly after. We ask that you continue to pray for him and no side effects. The last lumbar puncture left him incapacitated for over a week, sadly side effects can be brutal and we never know when he will have them. We also pray over his mental health as he continues this journey. We thank you in advance and appreciate the prayers and support. #HunterManStrong2022
