Hugh’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  Hugh suffered a small heart attack at the beginning of October. He had recovered quite well and decided to go down to his second home in the desert. After a week or so of being there he was diagnosed with a subdural hematomas on the front of his head causing pressure on the brain and stroke like symptoms. In the last three weeks or so he has improved greatly and is going to be moved from the rehab center in Palm Springs to Karen and Matt’s house in Soquel,Ca. on Monday, December 30th.  Charlie is scheduled to have back surgery on 1/6/2020. They both can use your prayers and help in anyway you can. Stay tuned for a schedule of care, meals, and visits...

Hi friends and family, 
I pray you are all happy and healthy.  
Charlie is taking a much needed break to visit his family in Texas. My dad is having a stay with the folks at Paradise Villa on 17th Ave. in Live Oak starting today until the beginning of July.  The Director Erin requests that we let them know if we are coming to visit you can call or text her at (831) 471-7908 she is off on Sunday and Monday.  So, the Main number is (831) 475-1308. I’m sure he would welcome visitors.
