Surgery appears to haven a tremendous success.  Doctors are delighted he’s done so well.  He’ll be leaving icu two days early, as soon as they find a room.  He’ll stay in the hospital a few more days to gain strength so he can begin rehab, hopefully at this facility.  We’ll stay until he’s at a place where it’s good for him.

he is breathing on his own and he ate soft foods for the first time today.  There is much hope!
