Journal entry by Steven Hauer —
Howard is still in a coma-like state, which is a good thing. He has been responding two doctors and nurses commands. I didn't know this but apparently he was on blood pressure medication and now he is off of that but pressure medication because he's been able to maintain his blood pressure at a good level. They did not remove remove the tubes in his mouth as they decided to make sure to get all the liquids that are in his lungs out. The nurse told me that they are going to gather up the team of doctors and decide what is the next best step for Howard. Which is true of the tubes and go from there.
