Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Howard is light. People want to hang with him just so some of his light transfers to them. He's the laugh track to our tribe, the all-time champion of '
'quote-of-the-day' and we love him, hard.
Howard has aggressive lung cancer, terrible insurance, a career where if he can't work, he doesn't get paid and they need our help.

Celebration of Life, Save the Date

Many of you know that on August 3, 2018, we lost our precious Howard. 

Thank you for those of you continuing to support and help relieve the burden Susan, Nick and Ryan face. Sharing your funny stories, helping financially and offering prayers, love and sympathy mean more than you know. Because of the dozens of years of memories at Puryear Ranch, the family decided to have a Celebration of Life for Howard Ray Bruner on August 25, 2018 at the place the family came to relax, laugh and be together. All are welcome, so please save the date, make arrangements and come help us celebrate.
