Holly’s Story

Site created on October 1, 2018

Holly Galles was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastasized breast cancer several months ago after being in remission for a period of time.  She has been such a fighter that she has been working, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends so the extent of her diagnosis hasn't been very evident to those around her.

On Monday September 24th, Holly made a trip to the emergency room with extreme abdominal pain.  She had been experiencing pain for a few weeks and had gone to urgent care and to the ER but hadn't gotten any answers on why her pain was so bad or why her abdomen was swollen.  She was admitted to Banner Gateway in Mesa and has been in the hospital since that time.

Her condition has rapidly declined and her organs are failing.  Her family and friends are gathering to share stories and memories.  She has been resting comfortably since Sunday evening and appears to be without pain.  She has not awoken since then but appears to be listening to everyone around her.

Holly is in room 1529.  Visitors are welcome as long as they are not currently ill.  There are no visitor hours.  If the main doors are locked, enter through the emergency room.

Cards can be sent to the family at 7407 E Medina Avenue, Mesa Arizona 85209

We will provide updates to this site as her condition changes.
