Hobie cheered at Ohio State with my mother Jean Chard Brandt. I have a picture in the football stadium of Jean Chard, Hobie Billingsley and Sarah Miller. 1947-8. Wish I could post a picture here!
I saw hobie a couple of weeks ago and was thrilled with his progress! I said I would come back, but the next week I fell and broke my hip. I'm in intensive physical therapy for several weeks and so can't make it as soon as I would like. Can someone please let him know so he isn't expecting me right away?
Great recap of our visit Terry. It was a wonderful weekend. Scott Cranham will be visiting Hobie Sept 7-10, and Pat Harrington looks like he will be visiting also in September. He appreciates our love.
Thank you. You are all amazing men. I’ve known that since junior high! Terry you should be Hobie’s co author on his autobiography. I could hear his dry wit in everything you write. Hobie shows us all how to live with humor and grace.
Hobie. "Downunder" still thinking of you and are thrilled to know from a Journal entry by Doug MacAskill/Terry Faulkenberry posted a few hours ago, that your spirit is firm, your remarkable wit and joie de vivre continues. Best wishes, Robin Hood. NZL.
WOW...wonderful post Terry, Brian, Tom, Gordon and Doug. We all can share in your missives, as we've been there and shared with Hobie just as you described. Wonderful! Thanks so much.
We all Love You Hobie!...and Nancy, Jimmy and Elizabeth too!

That was pasted from a note that Terry Faulkenberry sent me, one of the best second hand coaches ever! Wow, nice post guys! I am amazed at how well he has done, considering how ill he looked in the beginning of this latest challenge. Amazing man! Amazing Hobie's Heroes nation!
