We came home yesterday. To say we were excited is an understatement. Henry even helped push our cart of luggage out of the hospital room. I’d say that was a pretty good indicator he was ready to leave the PICU!
Henry’s stomach incision is still causing him a decent amount of pain but we’re finding creative ways to play. He’s definitely more interested in his toys than the last time we returned home. It’s a good sign that the shunt is doing its job.
Today we even ventured outside for a bit! We all needed that.
