1 year and 1 day cancer FREE!!! PRAISE GOD!
This week, as well as the last few, have been very emotional! I always get pretty anxious prior to markers and scans. I know God will be right beside me and bring me thru the other side of whatever, but I don't want to go thru any more cancer diagnoses or recurrences. EVER!!!
Markers were done Tuesday. They came back low and my hematoligist's office called and said he was happy! I was much relieved and knew my scans would probably be good, too.
Yesterday, 5-25, was my 1 year anniversary from the last recurrence.
CT scans were done today. The 1st line was the best: "No evidence for new or recurrent malignancy."
Did you know there is a nationwide shortage of IV contrast. Luckily, I always get to drink 64 oz of oral contrast 2 hours before every CT scan! Yay me! 😬🤢🤮
Apparently I had a stress fracture to my sacrum at S1 & S2. That helps explain why I hurt so much during my recovery last year! I thought it was all nerve pain!
Thank you all for your prayers and going on this crazy and not so fun ride with me!
Blessings,
Tiff
