Hi Henry, From posts on line, I'm glad to hear you are doing better. We haven't met, but I am a distant relative and found reference through a NY Times article of Henry Orlando Marcy who served as surgeon with 35th USCT unit in the Civil War in the Carolina campaign. My maiden name is Gibbs and Fanny Gibbs Marcy was Henry O. Marcy's mother. I would love to learn more about Henry's service in the Civil War and liberation of slaves on area plantations and work with the troops he commanded. I'd appreciate any help or direction you might be able to share with me. Thanks and sending best wishes for your continued health. Kathy Gibbs DeCarlo

Really pleased to hear that you have progressed so well, Henry. My hopes and prayers are for your continuing improvement. Both NR band and RCCB have been shut down for several weeks and will not resume until sometime in Feb. Best wishes,
George

Thank You for this update. 81 minutes-- how many people our age can walk this long? And you had 8 and 1/2 hours of surgery. You are amazing!
