Journal entry by Barbara Wadsworth

Dear Family & Friends,

Harry tolerated his inpatient “special chemo” and his outpatient infusion well. The outpatient infusion was completed in about 3 hours. Similar to last time, Harry was very tired when he got home. The fatigue continued today along with headache and flu like symptoms. All of which is “normal” and to be expected. The doctor described that each treatment would become a little more challenging with symptoms and fatigue.

We had a virtual visit with Dr. Porcu today. (That was super convenient) everything is going well. He is very pleased that the tumor is completely gone. He thinks Harry is tolerating everything really well. And Harry is HALF WAY through Phase I of treatment.

Lots of rest is in order for Harry this weekend.

He will need labs on Monday and Wednesday and should be good by Thursday. Hoping he starts to feel better soon.

Thanks to all of you for your kind words, prayers and encouraging notes, texts and comments.
