Welcome friends and relatives to Mom's website.  We created this site to keep everyone informed of her condition.  We'll add journal entries periodically to keep you appraised.  We appreciate your expressions of love and concern.

Helen  suffered serious injuries after a fall in her home on Saturday, December 21st.  After 5 days in the hospital, she recovered to the point where she is now a candidate for hip surgery, after which she will undergo some months of physical therapy to bring her back as close as possible to her condition before the fall.   We thank all of the professional staff at Geisinger Community Medical Center for the excellent care that she has received..

Please visit as often as you like in order to read the journal entries, visit the photo gallery, and if you wish, write us a note in the guestbook.

Mom's Surgery Successful

Mom entered surgery in the early afternoon and two hours later exited with a successful partial hip repair.  She is now resting comfortably in her room.
