Oh Lori, I am so sorry to hear this. I can imagine your worry, particularly in regards to the uncertainty of her future. As much progress as medical science has made, I know that our level of understanding is in many ways very primitive. I often wish we could leap into a future that might hold solutions to today’s illnesses. I will be thinking about your dear granddaughter and holding both of you in my heart. Sending you much love.
