Oh wow Heidi! I love this! I love the running man progress, and I love the very specific verses encouragement God gave you through His verses. That joins the devotional you sent me today about the thing we have been praying about. I have needed this as I seek a fresh shot of joy and encouragement in my life -- seeing how God has addressed situations so specifically through Scripture in your life, helps me recapture the sense of being in His presence -- maybe it's seeing His works and rejoicing in them, and giving me something new to praise Him for.

God is indeed so good and what a journey this has been. Yours and Ryan's updates have always been so glorifying to God even in the midst of incredibly difficult challenges and uncertainty and this update is no exception. I'm very sorry I haven't seen you, but you have been and continue to be in my ardent prayers for complete recovery and healing. Prayers combined with your incredible determination and grit and God's healing hand will get you there. And I will be starting a campaign to officially change the name of "Running Man" to "Running Woman" 'cause girl - you nailed it! Keep running strong in every way, Heidi. Sending my love.

Heidi! Following your story and reading Ryan’s and your updates have been a huge blessing! I can’t imagine the difficulty of the journey and the daily struggle it probably is to accomplish simple things that we all take for granted. It’s beautiful to see the poetic way God continues to keep your spirits lifted and your eyes on Him. Remember that your efficiency and productivity were never the greatest gift you brought to Wesleyan and your family. You are the gift, Heidi. Your love, your perseverance, your kindness, and your compassionate presence, reminding us all that there is someone walking through the ups and downs with us. Praying for total recovery and continued breakthrough as your face each day with a joyful smile.

Love hearing of your progress and knowing how to pray. I also loved the running man videos! nothing like going straight into our fears to show us how strong we can be! Amazed at how hard you've worked this year! We will continue to pray for your complete healing. And can't wait to see you back on the volleyball court because I'm confident you will be!
