It breaks my heart to share this news and I don’t even know the right words to say but I just want to be honest with everyone who has been following along. We started my mom on comfort care yesterday. She fought so hard and she is the strongest woman I know. But the brain injury she suffered was very traumatic and there was too much damage that has prevented her from making progress and experiencing a quality of life.
