Journal entry by Tammie Buck

Heather was released from the hospital on December 19th with the conditions that she remain under Home Health Nursing for continued care of her wound vac and daily IV antibiotic treatments.
She was able to spend Christmas with all of us so that was wonderful!
Since her release she become increasingly sicker and the drainage from her back became increasingly worse as well.
This morning she was so ill that she was taken back to Holy Family ER and was immediately admitted into the ICU then taken into emergency surgery for what Dr. states is another bowel perforation that has been there all along, and has been the cause of all of the drainage and sickness that has now led to this. She will have another bowel resection today.
As always your continued love and prayers is greatly appreciated!
