Journal entry by Tracee Johnson

Its hard to believe Harrison has entered his last full maintenance cycle of treatment!  80 days to go!

He's been feeling great, gaining weight and height and his numbers continue to be spot on. The last 3 months have been so much fun and we continue to be grateful that he has stayed healthy and only visited the hospital for his scheduled appointments.

In February, the Roc Solid Foundation and local employees from Safelite, spent their day building a play set for the boys.  It was such a fun surprise and something they will spend so much time on as they grow! And later in February we spent our winter break in North Carolina with cousins!

And most recently we attended a Lighthouse Family Retreat. It was such a memorable and restorative week!  Our families partners cared for us so well and loved on our kids all week.   The week was filled with so many beautiful moments that were both life giving and life changing.  We didn't realize how much we needed a retreat and an opportunity to bond with other families fighting childhood cancer.  The boys are still singing all the songs and asking when we get to go back.

We are now focused on helping the boys finish the school year strong and filling their summer with camps and vacations.  They are looking forward to their first visit to Michigan to see where Mom and Dad use to play, live and go to school.  And of course we are looking forward to Harrison taking his last dose of chemo on July 14th!  As much excitement as that brings, it will also be a new normal for us and we will have to figure out how to adjust and navigate the worry of how his body will respond without the help of medicine.  We have so much hope and know God is in control!  Your support and prayers for our family are appreciated!
