Harpling’s Story

Site created on August 4, 2021

We are humbled beyond words and more than a thank-you card can ever say. We feel incredibly loved through the well-wishes, check-ins and offers to help.  After spending a week in the hospital due to low white blood cell count, Chris was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Luekemia (ALL). For at least the next month, he will receive aggressive chemotherapy treatment at Northwestern Hospital in the city.  We don't have the full bone marrow biopsy results back quite yet, so a full treatment plan has not yet been set. I will update once we know more.  Please keep praying for our family.

2 Days. 2 more treatments and this guy has made it through the Consolidation Phase!! I'm so thankful to God that we've made it this far ❤️

Back in August, this day was so far away, filled with uncertainty and apprehension. While this journey has another 2 years, we're praying that life can return to some normalcy. Chris will be on a daily cocktail of chemo meds that he's been able to tolerate thus far. We pray this continues. He's looking forward to returning to work later this summer.

We know that all of this is in God's hands.
