Journal entry by Hanna and Metta Thompson —
Hello all, I (Hanna) had my 7th round of chemo on Friday, all is going well. My care team says it’s harder to find and measure the mass which means it shrinking so that’s great news. I have my last day of chemo scheduled for the last Friday of November so hopefully that means my surgery will be scheduled the week after Christmas.
Metta is also feeling normal(ish). Her wonderful sister in laws threw an awesome joint birthday party for Meli and Benny, the pictures looked amazing! She has round 4 of chemo on Thursday which sucks but that means she’s that much closer to being done! Her surgery is tentatively scheduled for November 22.
For now we’re both enjoying feeling relatively normal all the while responding well to treatment and can’t for this shit to be over!
