Journal entry by Hannah Hofer —
First I want to thank everyone for all of the love and support.
My last chemo infusion was February 28th, my last radiation session was April 7th, and finally I had my port taken out today! Though I'll need follow-up appointments for a little while after treatment, I can safely say I'm done with treatment AND the remnants of it including having my port in. The plan was to have it taken out April 7th, but it (understandably) got pushed back today due to COVID-19. Overall the timing has worked out well with regard to summer and to classes this upcoming semester.
This will be my final update to this page, but of course everyone is welcome to reach out and chat outside of here - let me know if you need my current contact information. :)
