Hello all, Lois has a rough weekend. She was laid up yesterday with her broken ankle - taking a bath last night was quite interesting with her leg hanging out of the tub. She woke up this morning and has a fever of 103.1. She is very droopy. I did get her to ear a little bit, take some Motrin and then she fell back to sleep. I have no idea where this fever is coming from. I certainly hope this goes away quickly - bad enough having a broken ankle but with a high fever on top of it, she must really feel crummy. Hopefully she will feel better tomorrow as we need to go to the orthopedic surgeon to probably get her cast on. Hope you all are having a good weekend. Stay warm!
