Journal entry by Kari Van Lanen

Hello All! It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted but we’ve been busy. Hads had her 13th cycle of VAC. Had another reaction so things will be different next time. There wasn’t anaphylactic reaction so they are going to do it one more time. She was FULL of hives again and much worse than the time before. Her body just doesn’t like chemo anymore. Next cycle will be May 9th when we get home from Turks and Caicos. They will premeditate her with alll the things to get her through it. May 9th will be her last intense round of chemo. After that we discuss maintenance, and have scans a couple weeks later. And then we may qualify for the trial.

On to the next part of our journey. Kev had testing done last week, a part of the screening for Li-fraumini syndrome. Colonoscopy and EGD. They removed polyps and took biopsies of his stomach.

Rori has her scans (brain mri and full body mri) Wednesday. It’s a big week for us, as we will see how Kevin’s tests result and also Rori.

Please keep us in you’re thoughts and prayers!!!
