Journal entry by sandra pinckert

This has been the hardest week so far...Gunter gave me his drivers license and didn't want them back.  He said he will never drive again. I've not stopped crying since.  I know he's going thru a nightmare but it's double that for me to watch him and not be able to help him...he is grateful for everything I do for him but it also makes him so angry that he can't do for himself. I watch him slowly dissolve before my eyes as he has lost over one hundred pounds.  When he first started to lose weight two years ago he was so happy. He had gone from a 34 to 38 and he was so happy to get back into a 34.  As  the months went by he didn't stop losing weight and we found out he had cancer.
Our daughter said he wouldn't live thru September 2021 and here it is October and Praise God he's still here.... I want to hold his fragile body in my arms and never let him go..I love you my darling forever..
