John 11:25-26- “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.’”

Daddy was never afraid to die. He knew where he was going. He knew he would be celebrating in heaven with Jesus and grandma. ❤️🙏🏼 He had a smile on his face and was cracking jokes until his very last breath. Throughout these past 6 weeks, he has been the perfect example of having faith in Christ when everything seems hopeless.

Daddy joined the angels this morning surrounded by his family, scripture, prayers, and music. The visitation will be tomorrow, August 15 from 4 pm- 7 pm at Broadway Christian Church. The funeral will be August 16 at 11 followed by a luncheon at Broadway Christian Church.

We ask that people continue to pray for us as we embark on a different journey— learning how to cope with the loss of a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. We also request to be granted time to heal together as a family.

I know there is a bigger picture that I can’t see, and I trust in God’s faithfulness, but I’m sure not loving his process.

Katie Hlebasko made this incredible video for us, and it has brought so much comfort and peace to us. Daddy was a very loved man, and I know many will cherish it, too.
