Journal entry by Al Lofton

It is 8:35 pm as I begin this entry...

After almost a year, and with PERMANENT rods, screws, braces, and staples throughout his body...

GREG HAS COME FULL CIRCLE ! !

You will remember that, as a result of Greg's head hitting the pavement as hard as it did in the accident, one of the nerves behind his Right eye was damaged.  That particular nerve controls movement of the eye.  You will also remember that, as a result,  that eye did not track in sync with his Left eye and that the doctors said that sometimes, after a period of time, that condition corrects itself.  It DID NOT ! Greg decided to give it extra time, and waited months longer.  It DID NOT happen ! 10 days ago Greg HAD, what will be,  the final surgery in his recovery from that horrific accident January 5th !  He has seen the doctor for a follow up since that time...SUCCESS ! !  There is even MORE movement in that eye than was expected ! !  Everything looks GOOD ! !

FOR THE LAST TIME...Thank you ALL for your prayers and good wishes ! !

This is my final entry !
