Wanted to share that on May 30, 2022, we laid brother Gregory's ashes to rest in our Hammond family plot in Twin Township Cemetery outside of Chillicothe. It was a small ceremony of immediate family and close friends ending with sending bubbles to heaven. With Gregory's passing, we updated the headstone to include both John and Gregory's photos and dates along with Mom's favorite photo of the four of us. Thanks to Treber Memorial Monuments for their work and customer service to create our family headstone. Also, thanks to Twin Township Cemetery staff for all they did to make this day memorable. Afterwards we spent time together, shared stories and toasted Grizz with shots of Jägermeister at Paul and Sierra's home. And the circle of life continues as Paul and Sierra announce they are expecting their first child! As we look forward to meeting our newest member of the Hammond family, we still grieve the loss of Gregory. I read something the other day that says grief doesn't get smaller, we get bigger. For me that means your grief is as painful as the day it started; however, you grow to treasure the life lived and the blessing they were in your life. Love and Prayers.
