I wanted to just quickly write and give an update on life these days. Last year was very difficult with Covid. Therapies were cancelled and as you know, life seemed to be put on hold. My dad continued to work daily at home but it just wasn’t the same. Thankfully he was able to resume going to physical therapy a few months ago and he is really enjoying that. Just being able to get out of the house has been beneficial.
Lake Tahoe has been a source of many family memories. Each summer we gather at our timeshare for a week of family fun, excursions, and relaxation. Needless to say, my dad has missed Lake Tahoe!
This last week we were able to take him up to the Lake and enjoy time together. We took him gambling, on walks, out to eat, swimming and even got him on a pontoon boat for the day(not an easy task). It was great to see him smiling, content and happy.
Sadly, because of the fires and my moms frail health, she wasn’t able to join us. We are praying next year that we can all go up!
