I had not seen Greg since we were 18 years old. But I remember him well. He was a tough, determined wrestler, and always one of the smartest men in the room. Even at 18 he was a sophisticated scholar. My sympathy to his friends and family.

You always had a smile and a kind word when I would run into you later in life. The world has lost another bright light and a very smart and talented man. Safe journey, Greg!

Jim thanks for posting the notice of Greg’s passing. I found out about it last night. We are keeping Greg, you and the rest of the Bowen family in our prayers. Greg will be missed. I’m sure Chris and your parent’s were waiting for him.

Greg was a wonderful STA classmate who obviously developed into a wonderful adult. I join the comments of Kevin and Joe and will remember Greg in my prayers.

James - you and your family do not know me , but I was HS classmate of Greg's - Allow me to tell you I learned of Greg's hospice yesterday - I thought I'd revisit the yearbook from 1968 - which I did yesterday - and then send a note today. Greg taught me a lesson today . And I understand he was a teacher. Don't wait to reach out ! Amen, to one of the Good Guy's and a life well lived. Joe A '68 STA

So sorry for your loss. While we were open (2years) Greg would come to our brewery/tap room, Sidhe Brewing in St Paul and we would sing and jam. Often it was just David Leander, Greg, Kathleen and I, but sometimes other musicians would join and the audience, too. Will miss him a lot.

James-so sorry for your loss. I knew Greg in grade school-from what I can remember he was a very outgoing type and liked to "raise a little hell" once in awhile. Please extend my sympathies to all of your family. You will all be in my prayers. Eternal rest for Greg.
