Newest Update

Journal entry by Sara Taitingfong

It has been too long since I have updated here, but we are still here! Recently, Gracie has her own Intagram page so we can connect w others on similar journeys & update you easily there as well. Grace is now 2 yrs old!! What an amazing place to be! I prayed and dreamed of this time and I am so thankful we are here! Toddler days are just magical!  Talking, personality, singing, dancing, favorite foods etc are all blooming at this stage!
Grace continues to grow and gain stregnth. She is a doll! She is sweet and kind, loves to laugh and is funny and has her own sense of humor which is similar to her brother's and they have a ball together. He is 6 and rambunctious and full of jokes and energy! Grace gets such a kick out of being w him. Although sometimes it ends in tears when he has been too rough or soaks her with a squirt gun!
She loves music and memorizes lyrics quite easily it seems! She also loves books, Daniel Tiger show and cuddles. We continue having therapy and early intervention a few times a week here at home.  She enjoys that fairly well once she is familiar and connected to the person. She is very relational and opens up amazingly once she knows you and has spent time w that person.  It's beautiful!  She has a huge vocabulary and her speech is coming along well. Her speech therapist jokes that Gracie is going to put her out of a job bc she is doing so amazingly well.
That's all for now. I hope to update w more of her daily doings here 1 to 2 times a month.
Thanks for following along in our journey.  All questions are welcome of course and I would love to connect w other Special Needs families or people on this AVM/aneurysm journey.
