Something that helped me after my major loss was to write letters to my loved one. It's been 20 years, and there has been many new "norms", but through these years I still light Birthday candles and still buy an ornament every X-mas for the tree. However you each choose to grieve is ok, and healing will definitely come, but that corner of your heart will also always feel empty - until you get that piece back again someday đź’ž

You have an amazing family & Grace was so well cared for. We are so sorry for your loss& continue to pray for your family through all of the "firsts" that come after we lose someone. Grace and all of your family inspired many people to "do better" every day & look for ways we can support anyone we know who is going through a difficult time. Sending hugs, Greg& Carol O'Shea

My heart and my prayers go out to your family. I totally agree with Gail. You should share your love, faith and experiences in a published book. Perhaps it would help Andrea to heal also to put her thoughts and feelings in writing. Your family is a wonderful example how to love and care for a child who needs extra love and care. May God bless you all!

Cory , Andrea , Grant and Owen ,
Beautiful amazing Grace will never be forgotten. Not by the people closest to her and not by he people that have heard of her and followed her journey ! She has been an inspiration to so many , your family has been an inspiration! I believe , as Karen said god gave Grace to your family because he knew , you were the only family for this beautiful child. I also agree , when the time is right you need to publish a book on your families tremendous faith and journey with amazing Grace and her inspiration will live on and help others years and years from now ! God bless you all and thank your for continuing the healing journey with us all!
Love , hugs and prayers
Kim and Gail

Grace is not forgotten. She was an inspiration of what it means to learn to appreciate just the simple things in life. When I think of the tremendous battle Grace fought and I seen the strength and faith of a family who fought with her, I do not doubt that God gifted you with Grace for 9 years because you truly were the only possible family he could give her. Thank-you for sharing one of the most inspiring life stories I have ever read! You are an amazing family and I pray that God helps you find Peace and Comfort in the struggle ahead!
Heaven gained a beautiful Angel the day God sent Grace Home!đź’•
