For the past few months godiva has had what we thought were UTIs. We finally went to a second vet for some more tests due to our original vet didn't want to do anything but give antibiotics and change her food. Last week we tried to get a culture and sensitivity test from our new vet and they found a mass in her bladder. Friday we saw a specialty vet to do more testing. She had a large tumor about the size of a grown mans fist 😔. The estimate $4,800 to $5,000 depending on if there is any major complications. My girl had been through hell and back in her life and we just want her to be healthy again. She cannot urinate very well and is straining to pass bloody urine. We hate to even ask for help but we are in desperate need for your support as we are still paying off her emergency surgery when she broke her leg. We do have insurance on her but there are two complications. 1) the amount must be paid before we can submit a claim. 2) even if the claim is processed there is no guarantee it will be approved as they said they will not consider pre existing conditions that has not been cleared for at least 6 months since last treatment date. Godiva has record of a uti (blood in the urine etc.) from before January when the insurance kicked in.
