Journal entry by Godfrey (Geoff) Nelson-Williams —
Got the best news ever on Friday 13th July when my Oncologist rung me to say he had a look at the CT Scan and can see no signs of cancer. We were extremely happy and I was dancing round the lounge at the news.
Was back at Christie’s yesterday to discuss the scan results and my general rehabilitation and recovery and arranged another scan for October and then scans will be every 6 months for the next 5 years as cancer can return and have to be mindful of that.
Im feeling more like my old self as each day goes by, even went out on my bike for the first time this year (see pic)
Although I’ve got to take it easy lots of nice things planned for the next month or so, going to watch England v India test match in Birmingham for one day next Wednesday, off to Dublin next weekend then Sweden and Denmark at the end of August and Greece for a week early September, and then back to work in September.
Have a great day everyone it’s going to be a hot one
