Journal entry by Fred and Glory Bruggeman —
Well - It's been 6 weeks since Glory's last chemo session and she feels a little closer to normal every week. She has taken over many cooking duties, and our menus have definitely improved. She's got more energy, but no more hair yet. And when she needs a nap, she takes one. Smart girl!
She's had multiple scans and tests over the last few weeks to check progress. She was scheduled to see her oncologist next week to go over results. However she got a call yesterday from her oncologist's physicians assistant. The gist of the conversation was that there was nothing concerning to the oncologist in her current battery of tests so no appointment was needed right now. Instead, they will continue testing over the next three months, just for safety's sake, and then we will meet up with her oncologist in January. Good news! We will take all of that we can get.
Meanwhile, we remain extremely grateful for all prayers and moral support that you have sent our way - you all lift our spirits every day!
